For lesbian women and couples, we proudly offer the following fertility options:

  • Intrauterine insemination (IUI) – Donor sperm is placed in the uterus when a woman is most fertile. For most lesbian women, infertility is not an issue and success is generally high, especially with younger eggs.
  • In vitro fertilization (IVF) – Donor sperm is used to fertilize an egg in the laboratory, usually when there is an issue with infertility or in the case of reciprocal IVF. The embryo is then implanted for gestation to continue for term.
  • Reciprocal IVF or Partner Assisted Reproduction (PAR) ensures both partners have a biological relationship to a child. One partner provides the egg, which is fertilized with
anonymous or known donor sperm outside the body –and the resultant embryo(s) is transferred into the other partner who then becomes pregnant.
  • Egg Freezing enables a woman’s eggs to be harvested and frozen for use in the future if for any reason she is not yet ready to begin her family. This process preserves more youthful eggs for use later.
